Reiki Miracles: 6 Success Stories for Hope & Inspiration

Over the last decade, Reiki has carried me into the lives of more than 500 clients across the world to be a part of incredible miracles. Each session, each story, and each moment of connection has reminded me just how mysterious, intelligent, and loving this spiritual energy truly is. When I look back at my journey, I don’t see myself as the source of anyone’s transformation—I see myself as a witness. I have been honored to hold space for their unfolding.

I give credit to universal healing intelligence and to my clients for these success stories. The clients have been willing to heal, vulnerable enough to acknowledge their pain, and open to spiritual healing. They chose to try something unconventional, and trust in a higher power.

Do I expect Reiki miracles in every self-healing practice or session with a client? Absolutely, not. I understand that every session does not look like the miracles I am about to share. But I am open to receiving exactly what my clients and I need at that moment. I trust that we will be guided, and I stay open to the best case scenario. I stay open to all that is possible with the divine intelligence of Reiki. 

The stories below are shared as examples of what becomes possible when we enter the healing space with willingness and trust. May they expand your sense of what can unfold when the mind softens, the heart opens, and the spirit is ready to receive. It is meant to open the dialogue on the wide variety of circumstances in which Reiki can be helpful, as well as how it can benefit people of all walks of life. 

Reiki Miracle with a Parasitic Infection

Several years back I worked with a woman in her 40s who had been dealing with numerous autoimmune conditions. She had intense fatigue, joint pains, and unexplained symptoms. She carried many responsibilities as a social worker in a busy metropolitan area. She had received a few Intuitive Energy Healing sessions that helped with her mood, energy levels, and overall outlook on life. She released difficult emotions and broke patterns of people pleasing and suppressing her expression. It all helped her body, but after one particular session, she emailed me. She said “I was up at night with a healing crisis. I had some nausea, stomach aches and I passed a parasite. I had a feeling for years that this was something that was holding me back from health.” She was grateful for the clearing and continued to receive some sessions. Some time later, she ended up learning Reiki to help herself as needed.

Reiki Miracle with Severe Back Pain

I once had the opportunity to share Reiki with a woman who was in severe distress. She had pulled her back and was barely able to walk, sit or lie down. She had lifted a heavy object and knew what the issue was. However, when she went to the emergency room, they weren’t able to help with much besides offering ibuprofen. The advice was to stay active (even though she could barely exist), and let it pass. The first couple of days were rough for her but I held space for healing. I channeled distant Reiki to her back, visualizing one vertebrae at a time from the base of her spine to her skull. I visualized the muscles relaxing, and intended for the body to find its highest alignment. Over the span of a few sessions, she sometimes found relief for 15-30 minutes, a bit more mobility, or emotional relief. After a few days, she was able to see a specialist and get a prescription for steroids. She started the treatment and was beginning to find a bit of relief, but there was one session in particular where she felt her back ease up a lot. She messaged saying “This is the best I’ve felt in days, and Reiki has helped even more than the steroids.” This session helped her become more mobile and gave her nervous system a break after being in severe pain for a few days.

Reiki Miracle with Fertility & IVF

One of the greatest honors is to be a part of someone’s healing journey. It’s even more special when it’s a journey of bringing new life into the world. A woman in her early 40s booked a distant Intuitive Energy Healing session a few years ago. She had a lovely attitude, was pragmatic, and open to receiving some support from a Reiki practitioner. She had two failed rounds of in vitro fertilization and was about to restart the process. This time, though, she wanted to clear her energy, intuitively connect with her spirit baby, and bring some softness to the journey. We began our work together and I looked at her chakras for any thoughts, emotions or imprints that may be in the way of a healthy conception and pregnancy. I could sense that there was some fear of being supported and held in the new responsibilities. We focused on womb clearing, and listening to the needs of her body. She reached out to her support system and had some much needed conversations on how she would receive help in pregnancy and motherhood. In just 2-3 months, she was ready for the next round of her IVF journey. She successfully conceived. Despite some complications during pregnancy (for which she also sought Reiki as a complementary therapy) she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. 

Reiki Miracle in Navigating a Divorce

A young medical resident reached out in hopes of relief from immense mental and emotional pain. She was living in the UK, away from her family and friends, while pursuing her medical training. She was only married for a year and half when she knew the relationship wasn’t right or healthy. She had managed to move out, and file for divorce but dealt with feelings of embarrassment, low self esteem, fear and sadness. Her family didn’t understand her or her decision. She was isolated, but needed to stay in the UK and complete her education. She also had a very difficult time sleeping at night, and had some traumatic memories of the relationship. She had intrusive thoughts that kept her from feeling safe. Despite purchasing a 4-session package, this woman experienced great relief from the first session itself. She was sleeping better, and had more focus while studying for medical school. There was a sense of peace in her that deepened with each subsequent session. Over time, she felt more confident in her decision, safe, less paranoid, and courageous. She continued healing and when the time felt right for her, she pursued another romantic relationship.

Reiki Miracle for a Gifted, Sensitive Mother

Several years ago I connected with a gifted mother – she was an empath, medium, and a clairvoyant. But she wasn’t entirely aware of her gifts and certainly not confident in them. She had devoted her life to taking care of her family, often putting their needs first. She was awakening though, recognizing that she has a greater purpose and she deserves to explore it. She was also recognizing that her children and husband can take more responsibility for their life, wellbeing, and energy. She began passionately exploring her heart’s calling whether it was yoga, pranic healing, tarot and more. She healed countless beliefs, emotions, patterns, and habits. Unsurprisingly, her family felt the ripples of healing as well. They awakened to their own patterns of consciousness, taking accountability for their part in the relationships. The mother transformed radically over 18 months. She became much more confident, clear, and determined to help the world through her gifts. To this day, she often notices how her energy affects the environments she is in, interactions she is a part of, and the people she encounters.

Reiki Miracle for a First Responder with Insomnia & PTSD

A mid-aged, retired male came in for a Reiki session circa 2019. He was spiritually curious but also open to healing from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and insomnia. He had spent many years as a first responder, helping countless people in tragic, alarming, and/or urgent situations. He confessed having seen situations that “haunted him”. It was difficult for him to relax, regulate himself and sleep. He slept about 4 hours on a good night. I shared a 60 minute Reiki session with him, and shared a few intuitive messages that I sensed while we connected. I let him know that it may take multiple sessions for him to see substantial changes if that (since we can’t promise the result of any session). Surprisingly, he came back to the next session reporting that he was sleeping much better. He slept 6-8 hours each night and felt rested after years. In subsequent sessions, we explored his purpose, his understanding of the Divine, and other areas that he was interested in.  

Finding relief from aches and pains, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and countless other symptoms isn’t uncommon with Reiki. Energy healing can help balance your vital life force, release stagnant energies accumulated over a lifetime, and replenish you from the inside out.

We practice this spiritual path to restore the mind, body, and spirit to their full potential. When stress decreases and peace increases, the body naturally begins repairing itself. It is always working to return to equilibrium, fight off pathogens, and calm inflammation—but we must create the right environment for healing to unfold.
